The State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia will host a unique charity gala concert "Ballet without Borders". The stars of the Bolshoi Theater and inclusive dance groups from all over Russia will perform on the New Stage.
The new format, combining classical and modern choreography, ballet dancers and inclusive dance art, appeared as a result of the joint work of Andrei Merkuryev, Honored Artist of Russia, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, author of the Recognition project and Leonid Tarasov, head of the Spiritualization Center for Sociocultural Animation, chairman organizing committee of the Inclusive Dance International Charity Dance Festival.
The program of the gala concert consists of two sections and more than twenty unique productions. Famous ballet dancers of the Bolshoi Theater will take part in it: Andrey Merkuryev, Semyon Chudin, Anastasia Strakhova, Maria Mishina, Anna Balukova, Ekaterina Fateeva, Sergey Zakharov, Valeria Shikina, Evgeny Triposkiadis, as well as the soloist of the National Ballet of Hungary Diana Kosyreva; artists of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography: Iskandar Anvarov, Maria Podryadova, Anastasia Zvonkova, Danila Panchenko; Grand prix laureates and laureates of the 1st degree of the International festival “Inclusive Dance”: Collective of the inclusive dance “Spiritualization” (Moscow), Dance Theater “PROdvizhenie” (Irkutsk), Amateur folk group “Theater of unlimited possibilities“ Gesture ”(Veliky Novgorod), Dance Prostor group (Arkhangelsk), Parallels People’s inclusive dance theater (Lipetsk), Inspiration dance studio (Saratov), Hobby-Chance modern sports dance studio (Rodniki), Reflection inclusive dance collective (Miass) as well as the Magic Girls Duet, B elarus (Minsk, Belarus). This evening, more than 30 artists with disabilities in wheelchairs will perform at the Bolshoi Theater.
Each spectator of the gala concert can not only experience a wide range of positive emotions, but also contribute to the development of inclusive dance and dance rehabilitation in Russia.
The funds raised from the sale of tickets will be used for the social rehabilitation of disabled people in Moscow.
