David Hallberg to dance for first time with Bolshoi Ballet

Hallberg’s Bolshoi debut will be in Giselle. Natalia Osipova will dance the title role.
Hallberg and Osipova have already appeared together in Giselle — last summer in the ABT production, of which company Mr. Hallberg is a principal. Their performance created a real sensation among American balletomanes and critics, who noted the talent of the young Russian ballerina and the striking harmony of their duet. Now this duet has to win the hearts of Bolshoi Theatre audiences. The Osipova-Hallberg duet is to be continued: this summer they are to appear together again in ABT productions — in The Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet.
