Sergei GritsayChoreographerHonoured Arts Worker of Russia Choreographer Biography In 1968 he graduated from the Leningrad Choreographic College named after Vaganova (today the Vaganova Ballet Academy), in 1985 – from the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatoire where he majored in choreography teaching under Pyotr Gusev, Igor Belsky, Nikolai Boyarchikov, Ascold Makarov, and in 1986 – from the Ministry of Culture Directors Courses. Cooperated with directors Grigoriy Kozlov, Grigoriy Dityatkovsky, Alexander Galibin, Semen Spivak, in the Mariinsky Theatre with Andrei Konchalovsky, Yuri Alexandrov and conductor Valery Gergiev. Participated in over 100 theatrical and musical productions (in the theatres of Germany, Holland, Switzerland, England, Italy, Spain, USA).
