Tatiana Baganova graduated from the Moscow Institute of Culture as a choreographer, teacher of choreography. Twice she worked on probation in the USA on the base of ADF, studied direction, attended master classes of many European and American teachers. Worked as a dancer in performances of many choreographers, such as Monika Runde (Spain), Donald Makkeil (USA), Anuk van Daik (the Netherlands), Kristin Brunel and Joachim Shlemer (Germany).
Starting from 1990 Tatiana works with the Yekaterinburg theatre “Provincial Dances” as a choreographer and actor. During this period the company created 9 performances that were awarded at international competitions in Gannover (1994), Paris (1995), Vitebsk (1995, 1997, 1999). In 2000 Tatiana Baganova got the prize of the very important festival — VII Rencontres Choregraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis (France) — for the performance “Les Noces”.
As a choreographer she took part in international projects in France, Spain (1997) and the Netherlands (1998). Thrice (1999, 2001, 2003) she produced performances in the USA. The performances were ordered by the American Dance Festival for the program “International Choreographers”. In 2000 on the order of the Baltic University of Dance (Poland) Tatiana produced “Parrot” in Gdansk, in 2003 she produced “Autumn” for ABCDancecompany in Austria within the program “East Roads”.
Tatiana Baganova worked as a choreographer in the Novosibirsk theatre “Globe” (rock-opera “Notre Dame de Paris”, 1997), in the Yekaterinburg theatre of Opera and Ballet (“La Traviata”, 1998), in the Yekaterinburg Musical Comedy theatre (“Die schone Galathee”, 1998), in the Experimental theatre of the Urals Conservatoire (“THAIS”, 1998), in the Theatre for Youth (“Diary of Anna K.”, 2000).
In 2003 the new stage of the Bolshoy Theatre of Russia featured the premiere of the performance “The Gold of Narts” in which Tatiana worked as a choreographer.
Tatiana Baganova was a member of the board of adjudicators more than once, held master classes during international and national competitions and festivals in choreography. She is awarded by the prizes of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region and of the Yekaterinburg branch of the Russian Theatre Union. Twice she has been the prize winner of the National Theatre Award “Golden Mask” in the nomination “the best work of choreographer”.
She is a member of the Russian Theatre Union.
