Aleksandra Tikhomirova

Choreographer
In 1991 Aleksandra left Saratov Choreographic School.
In 2000 she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Petersburg State Conservatoire (choreography department) where she acquired the profession of a ballet master.

From 2001 to 2006 she was a teacher and répétiteur of the ballet company of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Petersburg State Conservatoire.

In February 2006 she became a teacher and répétiteur of the Jakobson State Academic Ballet Theatre in Saint-Petersburg (artistic director -- Yury Petuhov).

From 2008 to 2010 she worked on the following performances:

The Maid of Pskov (directed by Yury Laptev, the Mariinsky Theatre, Saint-Petersburg), Carmen (staged by Yury Laptev, Rostov Musical Theatre), Rose and Cross (staged by Vladimir Retsepter), the musical Russian Phantom (staged by Susanna Tsiryuk, Irkutsk Musical Theatre), The Marriage of Figaro (staged by Irkin Gabitov, nominated for ‘The Golden Mask’ as the best opera performance of 2010; Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre), The Lady with a Dog (staged by Vladimir Vorobyov, the Malyshitski Drama Theatre in Saint-Petersburg), Gasparone (staged by Irkin Gabitov, Saint-Petersburg Theatre of Musical Comedy), The Bat (staged by Yury Laptev, Irkutsk Musical Theatre).

Since 2011 she has been a choreographer of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.

In 2011 she was a choreographer of the operas Aida staged by Mikhail Pandzhavidze, and The Snow Maiden  staged by Susanna Tsiryuk.

In 2012 she was an assistant choreographer of Giselle, ou les Wilis.
