Julia Pevzner

Associated Director

Born in Russia, she immigrated to Israel in 1991.

Her opera work includes Eugene Onegin (Virginia Opera, USA), Nabucco (Greek National Opera), The Queen of Spades (Dallas Opera), Das Rheingold and Die Walkure (Mariinsky Theatre), Boris Godunov (Houston Grand Opera), L’elisir d’amore and a world premiere of Shenhav’s Half Moon Tale (Israeli Opera), Mozart and Salieri and Der Schauspieldirektor (Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center), world premieres of Shohat’s The Happy Prince, Zorman’s The Inn of Spirits (Tel Aviv Museum of Art) and Porat's Animal Farm, and many others.

She has also created poetic music theatre including Letters to Orpheus and Nightingale and Rose (Fringe Theatre Center, Tel Aviv).

She is an Opera Workshop Instructor at the Vocal Department of the Tel Aviv University.
