Anna Nechaeva

Soprano

Born in Saratov. In 1996 she finished the Lysenko Poltava Musical College as a vocalist and entered the Saratov State Conservatoire. As a sophomore, she began working at the city’s philharmonic society. On her 5th year at the Conservatoire, Anna was offered to sing the part of Tatiana (Eugene Onegin) at the Saint Petersburg Conservatoire.

Since 2003 Anna was a soloist with the Saint Petersburg Opera Company where she sang the following roles: Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Madama Butterfly, Xenia (Boris Godunov).
In 

2008-11, she was a soloist with the Mikhaylovsky Theatre Company where her repertoire included Nedda (I Pagliacci), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), the title role in Dvoƙák’s Rusalka, Rachel (Halévy’s La Juive).

In 2012, she made her debut at the Bolshoi Theatre, singing the role of Nastasya (The Enchantress). In the same year she became a soloist with the Bolshoi.
