Biography

Born in Cherkessk. 
Alexander Utkin studied in choral conducting at the Bryansk Regional College of Music and Fine Arts. After graduating from the two courses at the College, in 2012, he entered the St. Petersburg State Conservatory after N.Rimsky-Korsakov (Dmitry Karpov`s class). At the Opera Studio of the Conservatory he performed Baron Douphol in La Traviata, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte, Ibn-Hakia in Iolanta

In 2016 he joined the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company.

In 2017 he performed the part of Antonio in a concert performance of Il Viaggio a Reims at the Bolshoi Theatre (conductor Tugan Sokhiev).
