In the fall DanceInversion international festival will take place in Moscow again. For 20 years this event presents to Moscow audience works of art by famous foreign choreographers and young, but getting popular companies from Asia, Africa and Latin America achievements.
This time DanceInversion will be held powered by The Bolshoi, Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre and Moscow Government. The program will consist of 7 performances on 4 stages.
September, 20-21, at the Russian state Academic Youth Theatre : "ROUGE" (Cie S'poart, France). The staging by young French choreographer MickaС‘l Le Mer, who works in style of democratic hip-hop, is a synthesis of different dance styles under a "red banner" of hot emotions.
September, 22-23, on The Bolshoi New stage: "NOW" (Théâtre National de Chaillot/ Carolyn Carlson Company, France). Creating new performance, the guru of modern dance Carolyn Carlson was inspired by east martial arts and thought about the home and the importance of living and loving right now and not tomorrow.
October, 7-8, at the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre: "CARMEN" (The Dance Factory, South-African Republic). The provocation themed on eternal plot from South American dancer and choreograph Dada Masilo.
November, 11-12, at the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre: "TOROBAKA" (choreographed and performed by Israel Galván& Akram Khan, Spain/UK). The tandem of two choreographers and unique dancers of different cultures and different dance languages works as a unite organism.
November, 23-24 on The Bolshoi New stage: "MВЎLONGA" (Sadler's Wells Theatre, UK). Performance-dedication to thye great dance - Argentine tango - staged by world star of modern dance Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui will be a bright finale for this autumn dancing marathon.
