This Friday, on June 5, U.S. Ambassador's to Russia wife Mariella Tefft payed a visit to The Bolshoi. The embassy initiated to transfer "New York Times" and "Washington Post" issues with responses to Maya Plisetskaya's death to the theatre's museum.
Mariella Tefft said: "This is a huge honor for me to visit this wonderful museum and to pass the American newspapers. My husband and I were really grieved over news of Maya Plisetskaya passing. These papers show that she was a legend of Russian ballet and an outstanding artist. Maya Plisetskaya embodied The Bolshoi best traditions. I admired her talent just as millions of people all over the world".
