02 June 2015, TuesdayThe rehearsals for "Carmen" opera premiere by Georges Bizet has been started at The Bolshoi. Tugan Sokhiev as the Music Director and Alexei Borodin as the Stage Director will be working on recreating the Spanish coloring from a French composer. And, of course, the staging cannot do without specific Spanish dances - Ricardo Castro and Rosario Castro, the famous flamenco duet, will be in charge for the choreography in the opera. The premiere performances will take place from July 15 to 19.
