May, 26, "Benois de la Danse"- 2015 nominees' gala concert and award ceremony have been held on The Bolshoi Historical stage.
The Bolshoi Ballet prima Svetlana Zakharova got the "Best Female Dancer" prize. The jury awarded the outstanding ballerina for her Marguerite Gautier in "Lady of the Camellias" ballet staged by John Neumeier and Mekhmene Banu in "A Legend of Love" ballet staged by Yuri Grigotovich. This is the 2nd Benois prize for Svetlana Zakharova: the jury highly appreciated her performance as Hyppolyta-Titania in another Neumeier's ballet "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in 2005.

The other laureates named on this evening: Christopher Wheeldon (The Royal Ballet) as "Best Choreographer", Edward Watson (The Royal Ballet) as "Best Male Dancer", Joby Talbot as "Best Composer" and John MacFarlane (San Francisco Ballet) as "Best Scene-Designer". The first joint "Myasin-Benois. Positano-Moscow" prize goes to Swedish dancer Ana Laguna.
