December, 23, 2014 exhibition dedicated to outstanding artists of XX century Alfred Schnittke's 80th anniversary has been opened at the State Art Museum named after A.N.Radischev in Saratov. Now the exposition has been moved to Moscow and takes place at Sergei Prokofiev's Memorial flat.
The Bolshoi Museum afforded Stanislav Benediktov's drafts for "Sketches" ballet to the music by Alfred Schnittke themed on Nikolai Gogol's works (music director Gennady Rozhdestvensky, choreographer Andrei Petrov).
The initiator of the exhibition is Musical Culture Museum named after M.I.Glinka, the old partner of The Bolshoi Museum. More than 200 items including drafts and manuscripts, photos, scenery sketches, private stuff, books and many other things are in display.
