March, 2 the round table dedicated to the pricing on tickets to the theatre and organization of sale took place at The Bolshoi new conference hall. The state officials, journalists and other Moscow musical theatres directors took part in the conversation.

"These questions are very important for our audience, but we are concerned about it as well", - accented Vladimir Urin.

The Bolshoi General Director told in detail how the prices are forming, what is the percentage of socially available and expensive tickets on each stage (80% of all the performances have the lid on prices at 84,5 €), what is the theatre's profit from ticket sales (25% of season's budget) and how are early sales organized. Comparing The Bolshoi to other world greatest musical theatres Vladimir Urin said that while our average ticket price is 54,7 €, ticket prices in Opéra National de Paris, La Scala and Covent Garden are almost twice higher.

He also mentioned that the theatre tries to stand against the second-hand dealers but unfortunately can't keep them from buying and selling tickets because there are no legislated reasons for that.
