The first concert of "Great Conductors at The Bolshoi" cycle will take place tomorrow on the Historical stage. Semyon Bychkov will conduct at the Bolshoi for the first time.
At the moment Semyon Bychkov is a head of Royal Academy of Music conducting courses in London. He is famous and in-demand opera conductor in leading world theatres and biggest festivals. Maestro collaborated with the best world orchestras as a guest conductor as well.
The concert program can be called "100 years of Russian music". There will be Glinka's, Rachmaninoff's and Shostakovich's compositions of 1856 - 1957 years.
The "Great Conductors at The Bolshoi" cycle will be continued with the concert conducted by Yury Temirkanov on March 6th, 2015 and with the concert conducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky on March 31th, 2015.
