Tchaikovsky will be the first premiere of the new, 239th season at the Bolshoi Theatre. The opera will be presented to the audience on September 26th and 28th. Yesterday the dress rehearsal and the briefing took place on the Historic Stage; the Bolshoi Theatre General Director Vladimir Urin, the music director Tugan Sokhiev, the singers Anna Smirnova (Joan of Arc), Pyotr Migunov (Thibaut d'Arc, Joan's father) and Makvala F. Kasrashvili answered the journalists' questions.
