The summer theatre festival will present four Bolshoi ballet performances to the audience. One of the most well-known romantic ballets, "La Sylphide" with music by Herman LГёvenskiold, choreographed by August Bournonville and directed by Johan Kobborg, will be featured in Russia for the first time. Main parties will be presented by Ekaterina Krysanova (the Sylph) and Vyacheslav Lopatin (James) on July 29th.
Besides, there will be three plays from the Bolshoi broadcasts of 2013-2014 season in the programme of the festival: "Jewels" by George Balanchine with music by Gabriel Fauré, "Illusions perdues" by Alexei Ratmansky with music by Leonid Desyatnikov, and "Marco Spada" by Pierre Lacotte with music by Daniel Auber. The audience will see the Bolshoi stars on the screen - Evgeniya Obraztsova, David Hallberg, Olga Smirnova, Semyon Chudin, Ekaterina Shipulina, Vladivslav Lantratov and the peerless Diana Vishneva.
The festival will take place in 35 Russian cities from July 1st till September 30th.
