"Episodes of History " covers the period from the end of the XIX century to the present day. Visitors will be able to see the costumes and scenery outstanding theater artists such as Konstantin Korovin, Fedor Fedorov, Simon Virsaladze, Vladimir Dmitriev and others. Also at the exhibition will feature costumes and personal belongings of artists whose creative destiny is tied up with the Bolshoi Theatre: baton of Peter Tchaikovsky, headpiece for party Odile, owned by Maya Plisetskaya, pointe Juliet Galina Ulanova, costumes by Elena Obraztsova, Vladimir Vasilyev, Ekaterina Maximova and other outstanding artists.

At the beginning of July an exhibition of costumes by The Bolshoi Theatre Designer Elena Zaytseva opened at The Chaliapin Memorial Estates.

Exposition presents sketches, costumes and ornaments created by Elena Zaytseva for The Bolshoi performances: Grand Pas from the ballet Paquita, Jewels, Ruslan and Lyudmila , The Tsar's Bride and Svetlana Zakharova's gala evening.
