03 June 2015, WednesdayTonight, on June 3, The Bolshoi opens the series of special "Chamber Evenings" concerts dedicated to Pyotr Tchaikovsky's 175th anniversary. Pianist Alexei Goribol became the initiator of this event and involved the Opera Company soloists to embodiment of his intention: Alina Yarovaya, Anna Aglatova, Venera Gimadieva, Svetlana Shilova, Maxim Paster, Pyotr Migunov and The Bolshoi Young Artists Opera Program students will take part in the concerts. The 1st evening will be dedicated to the theme of childhood in Tchaikovsky's art: "16 Songs for Children" and "Album for Children" will make the program. The 2nd evening will take place on June 10 and pay attention to Tchaikovsky's romances. The cycle will end on June 17 with performance of such famous pieces as "Memory of Florence", "Reflection" for violin and piano and "Nature and Love" to the poem written by Tchaikovsky himself.
