The Bolshoi virtual project obviously couldn't get along without paying attention to the person who was the initiator of the theatre's museum creation. "Fyodor Fedorovsky. The Bolshoi Theatre legend" exhibition is dedicated to an outstanding theatre artist.

After the Revolution in 1917 he became an artist and then the head of the whole backstage staff at The Bolshoi. And he worked there till his last days. First of all he designed sceneries for numerous gorgeous opera stagings - "Sadko", "Prince Igor", "Khovanshchina", "Boris Godunov", "The Tsar's Bride". But he also created theatre art ateliers which are still functioning.

The exhibition presents not only sketches of colorful and original costumes and scenery created by the artist, but also photos of his works brought to life.
