Tomorrow, on December 5th, The Bolshoi Young artists opera program and Paris Opera competition artists will perform a joint concert at Beethoven Hall.

French and Russian young opera talents have started their cooperation a year ago with some joint concerts. Artists performed at Théâtre Impérial in Compiègne, on The Bolshoi New stage and at Opéra Grand Avignon. And now, on December 5th these young artists will perform at The Bolshoi Theatre again. France will be represented with female voices and Russia - with male ones.

The Bolshoi Young artists opera program will be represented by Bogdan Volkov (tenor) and graduates recently taken to The Bolshoi Opera company - Andrei Jilihovschi (baritone) and Oleg Tsybulko (bass). And laureate of international contests Clémence Barrabé, Opéra Grand Avignon soloist Ludivine Gombert and International Contest of Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini special prizes winner Marion Lebègue will perform as Paris representatives.

The concert program will demonstrate wide style diapason of both Russian and French singers. Classic French and Italian opera repertoire of the first part will be replaced with "Eugene Onegin" fragments by P.Tchaikovsky, operas by C.Gounod, L.Delibes and M. de Falla in the second. And at the final all the performers will join in brilliant waltz from L.Ganne's operetta "Les saltimbanques".
