26 August 2014, TuesdayVictor Alekhin passed away Victor Alekhin devoted to the Bolshoi Theatre 15 years of his life. His career reached a peak in the beginning of 2000s, when he performed several leading parts in productions, choreographed by Grigorovich, Lavrovsky and Balanchine. He danced the part of Drosselmeyer in "The Nutcracker" and Troubadour in "Raymonda". At the same time when his career reached a peak, he suffered a serious illness, sarcoma.
